Psychic or Medium?

What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?
To put it simply:  All mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.
A psychic is someone who can ‘read’ energy.  This energy is typically called the Aura.  Everyone’s aura contains the past, present, and the potential future of that individual.  Each psychic receives information in the way that it works best for them.  Each physical sense that we have, has a corresponding psychic sense.  A clairvoyant can see images and energy.  A clairaudient can hear sounds and words.  A clairsentient can feel sensations and energy.  Claircognesent is when things just pop into your head.  Some psychics can even taste and smell information coming through.  Each psychic uses the way that it works for them.  There is really no advantage if they see it, feel it, or hear it.  It only depends on how they best receive and interpret the information.
There are tools that a psychic can use to help connect them to someone’s energy.  Tarot and Oracle cards are the most popular.  Photos, pendulums, crystal balls, and tea leaves (just to name a few) can also be used.  Everyone is born psychic, and it can be strengthened just like any other muscle.
Mediums can connect directly to deceased loved ones.  They use the same heightened senses that a psychic does, except at a higher vibration of energy.  The higher vibration is needed to meet the vibration of someone in spirit form.  There are no tools needed besides the training and development of the medium.  Again mediumship can be developed and strengthened by training and practice.  All good mediums continue to grow and learn, so that they can better serve their clients and spirit.
When comparing the two different types of readings, it really depends on what you need at the time of the reading.  A psychic reading is more about what is going on in your life, and your potential future.  Nothing is written in stone, because we all have free will.  Things can change at the drop of a hat.  If you have questions about your life, the people in it, or just need guidance, then it will be a psychic reading that you need.
In a mediumship reading, the medium connects directly to your loved ones on the other side.  They will bring forth information that only you could know about your loved one.  This is called evidential mediumship.  They should be able to give the sitter bits of information such as – personality, memories shared, what is going on in the current life of the person getting the reading (that is not psychic information by the way when it comes from the spirit), or anything else that the spirit person would like to pass along. It is a very loving and healing way to connect with your loved ones.  It aids in the grieving process, and brings comfort, tears, laughter, and joy to the person receiving the reading.
When it comes to deciding which type of reading that would be most helpful to you, ask yourself, what do I need at this moment.  You can’t go wrong when you listen to your own intuition.

We Are All Born Psychic

We are all born psychic.  Yes, even you.  Isn’t that great?

We are born with our physical senses and our psychic senses.  Some of these senses are stronger than others. There are as many different ways that we receive information as there are people.  We are all unique in how we perceive information.  We can all look at the same picture or scene in nature, and feel and think or even see different things.  Usually one sense stands out for us.  Maybe we are more visual, or more sensitive to sound. Maybe we just feel the scene, even sensing what the trees or animals are feeling.  We just take it for granted, and shove it into the background of our daily lives.  It’s easy to do with the busy lives we all have.

I believe that we are souls, born into this human life.  We are gifted with intuition to help us on our journey here.  It is up to us whether to pay attention to our intuition or not.  It is up to us to develop and trust our psychic senses.

Think back to when you were a child, or look back on your own children’s lives.  Many children see what people call imaginary friends.  Are they really imaginary?  Or are they seeing angels, or Grandma who has passed?  Do they sing songs you’ve never heard before. or tell detailed stories about lives they lived before?  Yes, children have active imaginations, but they are also very intuitive and tuned into energies that parents can’t always see or hear. They are not self-conscious enough yet to know they can’t share everything that they experience. Which is a beautiful thing.

As an adult, have you known who is calling on the phone (without looking at caller id) before you answer?  Have you ever known that one of your children or other family member needed you before they ever said anything? What about going into an empty room and feeling that someone just had an argument in there?  There are so many instances where it just can’t be coincidence.  Your intuition was telling you something.

There are some people who are afraid of their intuition, and think that it only works if you are a psychic or a medium, or even think that it is of the devil.  Not true.  If you use your intuition, you are intuitive.  If you develop your intuition, you become psychic.  Now that doesn’t mean that you have to run out and open up your own shop. But living with, and using, your intuition can be a wonderful thing.

Living with your intuition is living a more mindful existence.  Taking the time to use those extra senses can really benefit your life.  Yes, you may need to slow down your brain a little, but it is worth the effort.  You really don’t have to change that much, just be more aware.  Be more aware of what you are feeling, and discerning whether it is your feelings or some other persons feelings you are sensing.  Be more aware of what you are seeing and hearing. Don’t take everything at face value, see the details, and hear background noises.  Your life will become more rich and interesting when you notice the little things.

I don’t know if you’ve heard of The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, but he has some really good ideas. My particular favorite is the Love Tank idea, where you ask your partner if their love tank is full that day. This shows that you really care enough for the partner to make sure they feel loved. Everyone has a little emotional tank that doesn’t always feel full. In order to fill it up you have to know where the level is and how to fill it. It’s a good idea to have your partner fill in the free five love languages quiz to figure out how your partner recognizes love when received so you know how best to fill their love tank. Some people prefer attention, words, physical touch, gifts or just spending time with you. There can be miscommunication sometimes where one partner thinks they are communicating love by working hard and bringing home money, but the other partner only sees that they don’t spend enough time together because she is at work all the time. I just got my psychic reading. Can I change my future?

The short answer is Yes.  The future is changing all the time because of the choices we make.  We have free will, and the reading you received was based on the conditions present at that time.  You can make a decision in the future that will cause you to turn down another path.  For instance, if the reading said you will meet someone who you will marry in 3 months, you could still miss that person.  Why?  Well, you could not go to the party that your guides and angels thought you would go to.  Or maybe you didn’t go to the grocery store that day because there was a CSI marathon on TV that you just couldn’t miss.  Or, maybe this future love interest decided to move to Canada.  Whatever the scenario, the future is changing all the time.  I always tell my clients this because we do have free will.  I’ve had experiences where what a psychic medium told me did come true, and I’ve had another scenario where the future did not unfold as predicted because another party made a decision to do something else.  Since we have free will and there are many variables involved with the future nothing is set in stone.  If you don’t like your future I would suggest doing a Theta healing on your fears and beliefs.  Sometimes we have subconscious beliefs that prevent, block or push away what we want.  Subconscious beliefs can be on the current life, genetic, past life or soul levels, so you may not even be aware of some of them.  I’ve done work on myself to help my business and personal life as well as others, and I can tell you that you can change the future for the better.  So, if you don’t like your future, you can always change it!  If you need a Theta healing, you can find me at www.feathersinfinity.com.  I can do it over the phone or in person.

Why is my Business not Profitable?

There can be numerous answers to this question, including if you are advertising to the right market, if your prices are competitive, if you are in a good location, and if you have good customer service. However, if you think you’ve conquered all of that and are still not successful then maybe there is something else you’re not aware of. Let me tell you my personal story:

I was told by many mediums and channelers that I would be successful in my own business. I was even given ideas by my guides on what I could sell that would help spread God’s light to the world. So I started to setup my company with a website and listings for my crystals and paintings on various popular websites. However, I was getting no sales, not even inquiries, for weeks. I couldn’t figure out why after I was encouraged by different psychics to go into business on my own and from what I could see I should have been able to make some sales. I am certified in Theta Healing, which heals subconscious beliefs and fears that we may be carrying with us and secretly sabotaging our efforts. Beliefs and fears such as “I can’t run a business on my own” or “I can’t make a profit” or “I will fail on my own”. I did some digging on myself and found I had similar beliefs and I cleared or resolved them on the core (current life), genetic, historical (past life) or soul levels. That very night I was able to sell something I listed, but it was something that was not from my new metaphysical business, just something I had around the house that I was selling. I still hadn’t sold anything from my new metaphysical business. Then I came to me in the middle of the night. I was told by a couple psychics that I had past lives as a nun and as a monk. People in these professions usually take vows or have beliefs that they shouldn’t take money for doing God’s work, let alone make a profit. I used Theta and found out I had such a belief or fear that I shouldn’t make a profit doing God’s work and it was sabotaging all of my efforts. I cleared and resolved that and within 24 hours I had my first sale from my new business, and the sales kept coming in after that.

First, there is nothing wrong with making a living. Psychics and healers often have problems not giving everything out for free, but there is really nothing wrong for getting paid for helping people.
